Emiti Emito Creative Arts Initiative Uganda (EECAIU) is a non-profit organization registered in Uganda, operating in lusaze community, a suburb of Kampala City (Uganda).
Our mission is to empower and inspire the children, young people and women's growth to succeed as generous
caring and responsible leaders in life.
Our Focus
At Emiti Emito creative arts initiative, we prioritize children, women, and young people. They stand so tall at the center of our community, giving it their all. They are the essence, the center, and much more, with hopes that soar and dreams that glitter.
Children's eyes full of astonishment, spirits ablaze, their laughing so pure and beautiful. The future that we glimpse in their small palms, A blank canvas full of unbridled possibilities.
Strong women possessing profound wisdom, they plant seeds of love and honor their commitments. They rise and lead by adversity and victory. With unwavering courage, they sow every seed.
youths filled with zeal and eager to ignite, The torch of light, the flames of change. Along with voices that are critical and compassionate hearts, with bold dreams, they mold the future.
The cornerstone of a better, more inclusive future for everyone in our community is empowering women, girls, and young people.
OUR STAFF
Agatha Nalumansi, Programs coordinator
Agatha’s continuous growth within the organizations, actively creates opportunities that offer increased responsibilities for achieving remarkable success.

Through extensive experience working with marginalized communities, Agatha excels in identifying challenges and developing strategies that effectively improve their livelihoods, She actively participates in planning, organizing, and executing a set of activities to achieve specific goals within defined constraints, such as time, budget, and resources.
​
She ensured successful completion of projects by applying various processes, methodologies, and tools. Agatha’s dedication and strategic approach have been instrumental in achieving organizational goals and delivering desired outcomes in community projects.


Brian Bagonza, Co-founder and Sports program coordinator

Brian Bagonza is Ugandan professional Football (soccer) coach with a CAF D coaching license and a passionate social worker. The most experience and duties to have taken up his work and practice is with community-local Non profit organizations, communtiy local football (soccer) academies.
Brian is currently the sports program coordinator, volunteer program coordinator and one of the co founders of Emiti Emito organization as well as the head soccer coach at Emiti Emito Soccer Academy.

Joel Talemwa Co-founder and Music Program coordinator

Joel Talemwa brings his passion for music and dance to the organization and its members. He leads many of the music and dance classes at Emiti Emito and coordinates all workshops. He is also one of the volunteer program coordinator.
A seasoned performer, Joel has represented Emiti Emito at the Brave kids Festival in Poland and has also held dance workshops and performances in the USA on behalf of the education center.
"Emiti Emito to me is a family that accepts and embraces anyone despite their background, gender, identify, race, religion and status with the foundation of love, care and sharing. This is the meaning of Emiti Emito".


Denis Magezi, Co-founder and Leader of Arts and Crafts Program
Magezi Denis holds a certificate in Art and Design (CAD) and leads the art program at Emiti Emito.

Denis also makes art pieces and prints t-shirts which are sold by the organization as result of fundraising.
​
Denis is also a talented Dancer who performed and represented Emiti Emito at brave kids festival in Poland.
Shamimu Sophia Nakku, Head mistress
Nakku Shamimu, a passionate and dedicated individual with a heart for education and community development. As a student at Nkumba University pursuing a degree in Business Administration, She is committed to making a positive impact in the community.
With experience in adult education at Bamakerere Adult Language Institute and as a volunteering secretary at Women Initiative SACCO Lusaze Cluster, She developed strong skills in teaching, leadership, and community engagement. Shamim’s passion for empowering young minds has led her to teach at Emiti Emito Creative Arts Initiative Uganda, where she is dedicated to supporting children build their confidence and talents.

As the Head mistress at Emiti Emito Creative Arts Initiative Uganda, I'm proud to be part of an organization that shares my passion for education and community development. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We focus on education, talent development, and confidence building, and I'm excited to be a part of this journey.







Ashiraf Ntege, Teacher
Ashiraf is a music trainer and teacher dedicated to nurturing the talents of children. With a passion for music and education, Ashiraf has made it his mission to help young minds develop their musical skills and appreciate the value of formal education.
His dedication to his students' growth and success has earned him a reputation as a devoted and inspiring mentor.

Andriana Sofia Canal Huarte ​

She is a teacher from Spain who studied psychology and specialized in Learning Difficulties. She has worked and supported different projects of Psychologists without Borders and currently work as a Spanish online teacher.




Angela Kirabo Russell
​
Kirabo is a qualified Public Health Specialist with a decade long experience in community and behavioral health. She is a versatile professional certified by the East Tennessee State University,
TN, The Uganda Management Institute and Makerere University. Kirabo has offered her professional service in different capacities across the public, private and not for profit sectors in the region and beyond. She has been a member of cross functional teams at USAID projects, at local Health Centres , offered individual consultancy services and training to different sectoral players in business, leadership, management and entrepreneurship.
Kirabo is passionate about HIV prevention (policies and systems) Research initiatives geared toward health innovations and youth empowerment. Outside her professional work, Kirabo is a wife, a mother, and a champion of fellow women.
